Originally from the state of Indiana, Rachel is a U.S. Army veteran and is now the academy's Vice President and Chief of Staff. Rachel is a certificated Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) and has brought a wealth of operational knowledge to our school.
Kate Chastain "Sugar 13" Standardization Instructor Pilot/Team Lead CFI-A, CFII-A, MEI, AGI, IGI, Gold Seal
A native of California, Ms. Chastain has served in several flight instructor positions at various schools, including Airline Transport Professionals in Jacksonville, Florida. She is an FAA certificated Gold Seal instructor with over 1,000 hours of flying time and is the senior instructor pilot (Team Lead) at the our louisiana flight school. She is responsible for monitoring the quality of the day-to-day flight training operations at the school and mentoring junior instructor pilots.
