Your journey to a successful career starts here! Our industry seeks the most motivated students to join our private ranks and workforce. Select the school that can make your aviation goals a reality. Listed below are the common steps taken during the admissions process. Please take time to read and complete the process in its entirety to prevent any training delays. Step 1: Determine which course(s) of instruction and/or degree programs you are interested in taking. All students who desire to take a flight course must complete primary academics (ground school) or be enrolled in primary academics prior to beginning flight training. Step 2: Determine if you meet the pre-requisites for the course. Most pre-requisites can be found on the courses of instruction information page. You can also call us at 1 (888) 477-2593 option 1 to speak to us directly about what courses we have to offer you. Step 3: Determine the source of funding to pay for your flight training. If you will use federal financial aid or VA benefits, you will need to complete your FAFSA and/or VONAPP applications and receive your funding authorization or certificate of eligibility. These will be necessary before you complete the enrollment process. Step 4: Complete and submit an Application to be approved for training. Degree seeking students are considered "dual-enrolled" and must submit an application for both our academy and the Mountwest Community Technical College (MCTC). Step 5: Accept a class date and begin your training. The admissions department will provide you with a list of class dates that are available for training based on your current enrollment deadlines and your schedule. We will do our best to accommodate busy schedules, but please realize that a significant commitment is required to complete your flight training once started. |
