All other courses are taught through an articulation agreement with the Mountwest Community and Technical College and are offered via traditional classroom means or online. The following flight ratings may be obtained for extra credit or they may be applied to satisfy the required program elective hours:

  • AVT130 Basic Aerodynamics
  • AVT215 Airplane Power Plant, Structures, & Systems
  • AVT220 Aviation Safety
  • AVT230 Multi-Engine Ground and Flight Training (6 Credit Hours)
  • AVT235 Human Factors Affecting Flight
  • AVT 250 Airline Transport Pilot
  • AVT 270 Certificated Flight Instructor Instrument Rating (CFII)
