PAA has developed a special partnership with the Mountwest Community and Technical College in West Virginia which has allowed us to bring yet another diverse program to our course lineup. Set yourself apart from other flight students and earn a degree in Transportation, with a focus in Aviation Flight Operations. The Aviation Flight Program provides specialized training for student's who have an interest in pursuing a career in the civilian or military aviation industry. Aviation is a truly multi-disciplinary field as it joins many individual specialties into an active and challenging career field. Science, math, engineering, business, and humanities all play a critical role in forming the basic foundation for this program. The degree program consists of both traditional learning and hands on flight training experience, ultimately earning the student an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited college and all commercial pilot flight ratings up to and including Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI). Students who graduate the program are instantly marketable as commercial pilots and can begin their careers immediately, training students at one of several thousand flight training academies throughout the nation!
